World Book Day 2014

We love the book Buster’s Day by Rod Campbell.

The book tells the story of Buster and his adventures around the house… Which happens to be a very BIG adventure!
We got the book from a charity shop in town. The shop puts some books each day in a box outside with a sign saying ‘Free but donations welcome!’. Buster’s Day was one of the books, and Willow was only around 8 months old at the time. I put 5p in the box and we took it to keep Willow busy during one of my midwife visits.
Well, the book is much loved by both girls now and has been read AT LEAST twice a week since! When we first picked up the book Willow didn’t let go of it for about 3 weeks. It went everywhere with her!
Today, to celebrate World Book Day we decided to reenact some if the illustrations from our favourite book.
Here is our (disastrous) work…
