It’s that time of year again (although all year is ‘that time of year’) for sorting out my seeds for sowing.
Once again I shall be growing our family’s favourite vegetables with the kids but this year we have a new garden to do it all in.
Sadly our new garden doesn’t get much sun and spends most of the day in shade, but the front garden has sunshine all day long. I just have to hope that my veg doesn’t get nicked being out the front by some hardcore vandals! Or toddlers. Tssk!
I’ve decided to stick to some shade loving veg this year, because of the sun-free garden. So out the back this month will be lots of salads and Cabbages and possibly sprouts, beats and peas. I’m my sun-soaked front garden (it’s actually just some gravel, nothing exciting) will feature some early tomatoes and beans.
I still need to decide what will be sown over the next few months, but whatever they shall be, the kids will love planting them and watching them all grow!
But first things first….. Time to dust off the propagators 😛
