We Got To See Some Snow!

There seems to have been a lack of snow these last few winters in our region. The last real proper heavy snowfall I remember being in 2010/11. We had a little in 2013 but not much, well enough to build a 10 inch snowman on the bin lid if I remember correctly. Last night however, the snow started to fall think and fast. We all hoped this would be a good amount for the kids to play in, as poor Olive had never seen snow and Willow was only 11 months when we had the last half-decent lot.

OK, we didn’t get loads last night, BUT we did get enough to build a snowman. The kids had a great morning playing in it and there is still plenty laying in our back garden where the sun doesn’t ever reach. Out the front of the house though, where the snowman was built, the sun has hit strong us strong this afternoon… and he is already a collapsed mess on the floor… And yes, the kids cried. A lot.
