Sandwich Bag Books

Last Friday at our local children’s centre the lady who runs the session came up with a fab idea!
Sandwich Bag books. Yup!
Such a simple idea and great fun.
You can use as many bags as you like, hole punch along one edge (this will be your ‘spine’ of the book), tread a pipe-cleaner through the holes to hold it all together, then just cut paper to fit into the bags.
Children can then add anything they like to the blank pages.
We used stickers, glitter, pom poms… Well everything in the craft box.
Instead of me taking some control with this activity, I let Willow run freeee!
This was entirely her book and her creations (except the ‘Willows Book’ title text that I added).
A super idea that can be made from stuff you most likely are to have in your house already. Superb for a rainy day like today.
