My previous posts include my plans to live a more self sufficient lifestyle, and answering questions on how this journey is going so far. This week I have been given 3 new questions to answer, sent by Chloe from Indigo Wilderness.
- Do you have something or someone in your life that makes you smile on a regular basis? What do you love about your life? My husband. He is my soul mate. He makes me laugh all of the time. He is the only human I have ever met who if full of love, passion and positivity. You always hear people say how their partners are their best friends, well he truly is mine. We have never had a row (bickered maybe 3x at most). In my life, I love my children. I have 4 kids who I adore. As long as I have those 5 people, I am truly happy and blessed. They are the reason that I still exist. I love that my days are absolutely mental, busy and even stressful. But when I lay down in bed at night, I know how blessed I truly am.
- How can you draw on this special feeling to help you keep moving forward on your quest to reaching your goals? I know that all of the hard work I put into living our frugal lifestyle is to keep my family happy, food on their plates and teaching them more than just what is found on a digital screen. In a world which is lead by technology, I think it is so important that I teach my children how to connect with nature, the importance of hard work, patience and health.
- Can you do, or have you recently done something positive for someone in your life? I am the chairperson of my nursery PTA. My team and I work so hard throughout the year raising money to buy the nursery beautiful new things. Everyday when I walk through the nursery I see the little children enjoying the toys that we have bought. It’s the best feeling knowing that all of our hard work makes so many children happy, and hopefully creates such positive memories for them.
Aww I feel all lovely and slushy now! What superb questions. Who makes you happy? x
