June 21st 2015. Fathers Day, UK. Dads all across the country lounging on the sofa, watching the footie, maybe having a nice glass of beer. No different to any other Sunday really. Except that he has to be showered with lots of extra love and presents. My husband has made 3 beautiful daughters, He’s an amazing dad. He deserves cool presents. Luckily he’s quite easy to please.
Whatever your budget, there is always that extra special, perfect gift for any dad or grandpa so every dad can be treated this Fathers Day.

Ted Baker M Gift Set.
Dads do like to be pampered, its not just the ladies that like receiving smelly gifts. Ted Baker have put together this lovely gift set, called M, containing a 30ml Eau De Toilette, 100ml body wash and aftershave balm, also 100ml. Each items smells absolutely gorgeous of fresh, woody and understated fragrance with top notes of tonka bean, musk and vetiver combined with a spicy blend of amber and coriander. The smell of the eau de toilette is long lasting (hubby spraying it on in the morning and when he returned home, the smell was still on him), The body wash lathers well and the shave balm also feels luxurious on the skin post shave, both also smelling yummy and very manly. The gift set arrives in a lovely box, printed in Ted’s Wisely design, featured in the new spring/summer menswear collection. The Ted Baker M gift set is exclusive to The Perfume Shop and is available to buy from the website for £14.99 here.
Top Gear track day.
The Top Gear Track Experience will let him unleash his inner TV presenter, and even takes place at the home of the much-loved TV show – Dunsfold Park in Surrey. Would your dad like to see if he can get to the top of the leader board in a reasonably priced car (Matt Le Blanc is yet to be beaten) or would he prefer a few laps with The Stig?
There’s also the option to see whether a drive in the Ariel Atom provides a cheap alternative to a face lift – travelling that fast without a roof, windscreen or doors does leave you looking a bit like Wallace (not so much Gromit). Luckily a video camera on the dashboard can capture it all, to laught at time and time again (think future birthday parties!)
Vouchers are available for all the experiences, and also include two hours spent in the replica Top Gear studio, where visitors can enjoy the Cool Wall, displays of cars used on the show, and sitting in the presenters’ chairs. One additional adult and two children can also attend for free, so make it a family day out. There’s even an off-road experience for drivers aged from 11-17 years old, so kids can have a go too.
Dates are available throughout the year. Vouchers can be bought from www.topgeartrackexperience.com or by calling 0844 2250 767.
The gift of embarrassment.
Accentuate can really get everybody laughing, and feeling very uncomfortable! The party game of is simple, it simply gets teams guessing different accents from around the word, while reciting some epic famous quotes. If you guess correctly, you win a point. With 30 different accents to master, a third of which are home-grown local accents, you have just 90 seconds to read your quotation and nail the accent. It’s hard. And very, very embarrassing.
Morrisons cute keyring.
If little ones have been saving up for a gift and only have a small budget, a cute keyring can be a lovely and heartfelt gift, that will be taken with dad everywhere. It’s only £1, but will still mean a lot to dad, and mean so much to little children seeing dad use it every day. A classic gift from a wide range of Morrisons fathers day present ideas.
If your dad travels a lot, perhaps with work and stays in hotels it could be a nice idea to get him a lock for traveling with extra security. Makin you feel happy knowing he is safe when away and giving him piece of mind that his belongings are safe when he is staying in a hotel. Many top celebs are huge fans of The Easy Lock, including Samuel L Jackson, and Taylor Swift. The simple and easy to use 2 part locking system is as strong as steel, yet as light as plastic. It allows users to lock an inward opening door securely and open slightly to check a callers identity or receive documents if needed.
The Easy Lock is priced at £24.95 with free postage in Europe, or just £4 worldwide. We think that The Easy Lock would make a lovely gift for any dads who spend time traveling. It is available in pink or silver and can be purchased from the online shop. You can read more about my thoughts on The Easy Lock here.
Does dad need to swap his lager for a more healthy option? The Braun 5 J500 Multiquick Juicer might be the inspiration that he needs to get more of his 5 a day. We know most men don’t like anything too fiddly, so a simple and easy to clean juicer might be a good option for him. With juicing fruit and veg very in fashion at the moment, Just throw in the fruit, press a button and within seconds a glass of his favourite fresh juice will be prepared. Prep time is dramatically reduced as you just throw many fruits in whole, such as apples without needing to core first. He can take his juice to work, or the gym knowing that it is completely 100% fresh and contains no additives. He can even brag to his mates that he made it all by himself.
We took the juicer for a spin with some Mango, banana, apply and oranges, and I must admit that the juice was lovely and smooth. Much nicer than many shop bought juices. I did find the juicer quite bulky on the work surface and was more fiddly than my smoothie maker, but for the stylish tech-y dad with a big kitchen, this gift is ideal. The Braun Multiquick juicer is £129.99 (RRP) and available from Amazon, Argos and Littlewoods (other stockists are available).
We all need socks, and I also think we all need Happy Socks! A father’s day isn’t fathers day without giving some lucky father a pair of epic socks. The pack of 4 brightly coloured socks are very soft and high quality.
Designed in Sweden, when 2 buddies want to spread some happiness by turning an every day essential into a bright and cheery design piece using a broad spectrum of color combinations and original prints.
Happy socks are available to buy here from Fat Buddha and are £25 (RRP) but currently on sale at £15!
A smooth shave.
A man knows the importance of a good shave. A cheap single blade razor and harsh shaving foam can cause irritations and even nicks and cuts, creating an uneven and sore looking face. The all new Gillette Fusion ProGlide with Flexiball Handle technology works with the contours of the face to get a maximum contact shave. The 5 finer blades create less tug and pull, working just as great with course hair, as it does fine.
The smart razor even has a precision blade on the back for precise trimming and a microcomb for guiding hair towards the blades. Jay found the shave very smooth and tug free. There is always one patch on his face that he cuts, especially if he is using a cheap razor. The Gillette Fusion ProGlide, caused no problems and jay finished the shave with no tissue scraps on his face at all! His skin looked smooth, hydrated and felt so soft!
The Gillette Fusion ProGlide with new Flexiball Technology has a suggested retail price of £12 (RRP) and available in a wide rage of stockists, including most supermarkets.
For an even better shave the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 gel worked amazingly with the razor. The gel lathered well, caught hair with ease, hydrated his skin and caused no irritations. The gel smelt lovely too, which I love! The gel is also available from a wide range of stockists and is around £4.99
KAZAM Smart Phone.
The Tornado 348 is Kazam’s flagship product. Visually, it resembles the iPhone 4, edged with champaign coloured metal border, housing the side volume and power buttons. The Tornado is available in white or black. It feels expensive – a luxury phone, but it doesn’t feel breakable like more recent additions to the iPhone family. The Tornado 348 boasts an impressive, 4.8-inch 720p screen. It’s bright and colourful and watching video playback apps like Netflix and YouTube makes films and TV series look incredible. The phone boasts lots of storage, twin cameras and toughen glass. Its sleek, stylish and perfect for the tech savvy dad. The phone is also available in black and costs £249 for the handset, from the KAZAM site. You can read my full in depth review of the phone here.
Giving your dad and Amazon Kindle is pretty much the same as promising your dad some peace and quiet. Something that shall be very greatly received. My husband loves books, and he likes to settle down with a good book in the evening, tucked up in bed or in the arm chair or can be found reading when taking a train ride into London. The Amazon Kindle is a lightweight gadget that means he can carry thousands of books with him anywhere (literally!) all the time! He was a little sceptical of the Kindle at first as he loves to own actual physical books, but after a grand 5 minutes of plying with the new Kindle, he fell in love and was officially converted. With 100’s of titles downloadable for free, you never need be out of a book and because of how many books the Kindle holds, he can easily switch between books, or magazines and even comics, in a second should he fancy something different to read. The special screen means it can be read just as easily in bright sunlight as reading in a dim light, and the battery when fully charged lasts for weeks. A truly superb must-have for any book lover. You can read my full in-depth review of the Amazon Kindle here. The Amazon Kindle is £59 and available from Amazon directly.
A Jolly Snack.
Dads get hungry. Fact. They think about food all of the time. Constantly. This fab little set of snackboxes are a great size, stylish and hold lots of grub. The set of 3 vintage style football snackboxes are from the superb designers at DotComGiftShop, and are a generous size. All fitting into each other when not in use. They are BPA-free, and microwave and dishwasher safe. Since we got them they have been in constant use in my kitchen, in the fridge and in my husbands work bag. A great little pocket money present suitable for any little piggy-bank. The snackboxes are £5.95 and available from the DotComGiftShop here.
D’longhi coffee machine.
Wake up dad this fathers day with a fresh and awakening coffee with the new De’Longhi Lattissima Touch coffee machine. This gift is for those with a big budget, who want to gift pure luxury. The Lattissima machine takes the Nespresso capsules to create a wide variety of coffee’s from a favourite cappuccino to a fancy espresso Cosi, all at the touch of a buttons. This clever machine also have a personalised drink option, so set how much milk or coffee that you prefer in your drinks. The De’Longhi Lattissima Touch in Red, black or White, is £279 and is available from the Nespresso online store or in store at John Lewis, Debenhams and House Of Fraser.
This one is free, and I possibly the most important gift that you can give your dad, Grandpa, step-dad or Father-In-Law on this day. A cuddle will always mean more than any gift I have listed above. And doesn’t cost anything at all.
