When Easter Is Long Behind Us

Easter has been and long gone and I’m not sure about you guys we we STILL have lots of chocolate Easter eggs to use up!
Since I’ve been careful about how much chocolate I’ve cut out of my diet, knowing that they are say in the cupboard is torture.
My friend Kelsie and her little boy William popped over and the kids were begging to do some making.
Kelsie had the fab idea of using some of the Easter eggs and Mini Eggs up to make some little choccy birds nests for the kids and (not so reluctant) mums to nibble on.
They are so easy to make, so I won’t bore/insult anyone with a recipe, but more of a guide.

A couple of Easter eggs smashed and microwaved slowly to melt.
Tip in some Rice Crispies or crushed Shredded Wheat.
Chuck the mix, divided, into cake cases.
Stick a few Mini Eggs on top.
Leave to set in the fridge.

Final Step: panic at the mess of your kitchen and children.

Oh, and laugh at Kelsies ‘wart’!
