The Christmas season is in full swing and the big man in red has taken up residency at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire and will be meeting children every day until 23rd December – leaving plenty of time for him to head off to make a few special deliveries on Christmas Eve!
Santa and his helpful elves are busy chatting to excited families in the snuggliest grotto in town, so why not take a break from the Christmas Shopping and pop in for an early gift? Plus, visitors to the children’s museum can also watch a brand new festive show called Night Lights, set on Christmas Eve and all about the adventures of couple of very excited children. This brand new interactive show full of imagination and wonder, ideal for children aged 3-7. It’s Christmas Eve and Charlie can’t get to sleep without his night light. Join Charlie and his brother Alex on a magical, illuminating quest to explore the wonders hiding in light and shadows on a cosy, festive adventure they’ll never forget!
Santa’s grotto is open until 23 December and the festive Night Lights show runs until 3 January 2016. Visits to the grotto cost £3 plus standard admission. Entry to Night Lights is free with standard admission – book both on arrival. It’s worth remembering though not to take a visit on a Monday, because the museum is closed!
