Win – Tommee Tippee Goodies

We love a big adventure and we love big adventures even more when we are with our friends! You may have read last week that The Newhouse Family set off to London to go visit the Baby Show at London’s Excel, and while we were visiting the show we popped along to see our good friends over on the Tommee Tippee Big Adventure stand.

The theme was princesses and pirates. So m’ hearties! I suggest ye walk the plank, my little fairy princess and have a big adventure!

There was glitter, and pencils, and castles and wands, and biscuits (important) and eye patches and…. a very, very excited mummy! I was so happy to be seeing the new products from Tommee Tippee up close and hands-on! The new range includes some fabulous new cups and beakers and even a revamped range of sterilisers and feeding equipment, all now available in very stylish and modern in black, rather than the classic white colour range. A fabulous idea considering many of us now choose black kitchen appliances… I have purchased a new black washing machine in the last few weeks, so a beautiful new black steriliser will look amazing on the kitchen workspace along side of it!

The new range of cups are carefully designed for each developmental stage, for ages from 4 months to 3 years. The cups feature soft spouts and straws that protect childrens gums and teeth and the new range now introduce the all new straw cups, so there are even more options to help your little explorer keep hydrated with Tommee Tippee. They cups also have a nice and easy 2 part system, so no fiddly bits to worry about when cleaning. Keeping my job as mum that tiny bit simpler. All of the cups ‘mix and match’ together too, so you can swap lids, add handles and change beakers to create a cup that your child will really find helpful to them.

Olive is loving her new Tommee Tippee 12+ months Active Sports Cup which is a blessing! She has never been fussed with using non-spill cups before. She has always been very good at drinking from ‘big-girl’ beakers which is excellent! BUT, not good news for when we are out and about in the car or shopping… an open cup isn’t practical or ‘safe!’. Although, for once she seems to have found a big-girl cup that she likes, that has a lid and is non-spill. Perfect for her Big Adventures. While we like to keep the sports cup for mainly water during the day, I am also quite happy to give her an evening warm milk in the cup. I am trying to remove a bottle from her night-time routine, but she does still love her baby bottle for comfort. She is starting to settle well now with the sports cup, now that she has grown an attachment to it.

The cup is chunky, and easy for her to grip and has no fiddly lids to get the hang of using, instead she can just sip-and-go and I don’t have to worry about a trail of spilt water running behind her. It also holds 300ml of fluids (Tommee Tippee’s biggest capacity yet!) so no need to worry about filling up so quickly, perfect hydration for busy toddlers. The new cup is so easy to clean, with its simple 2 part system it is simply washed in hot soapy water, or can safely be placed on the top shelf of your dishwasher. No fiddly bits- a definite win for me!
